A Lagos-based company, SpendWaiz Limited, has announced plans to collaborate with selected state governments to generate N5bn as start-up capital for 1,000 new small and medium enterprises in each geo-political zone in Nigeria within sixteen months.
Unveiling the plan recently, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Mr. Femi Akomolede, said the project, tagged MyGudNES, was a “one-of-its-kind tripartite self-actualisation partnership.”
According to him, the state governments would sponsor at least 1000 youths for a comprehensive six-month business management and entrepreneurship programme on SpendWaiz e-learning platform.
